Four decades of surgical precision, now in service of ancient healing:
integrative medicine for the whole person.
Dr. Vijay Jain MD, FACS
Dr. Vijay Jain received his medical degree from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in 1969, one of India's most prestigious institutions. He completed his surgical residency at TriHealth / Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati between 1975 and 1978, and went on to practice General and Laparoscopic Surgery for more than 40 years before retiring from surgery in 2012.
"The best medicine addresses not just the body, but the mind, the spirit, and the life one is living."
Dr. Jain has been practicing Ayurveda since 1998, drawing on deep personal study with some of the field's foremost teachers. He co-founded the Mind Body Wellness Center in Palm Coast alongside Michele Jain, RYT, and in 2013 co-founded the International University of Yoga and Ayurveda. He is the co-author of the book Unfolding Happiness.
Today his clinical focus centers on integrative medicine that bridges evidence-based Western practice with classical Ayurvedic therapeutics, including pioneering work combining Ayurveda with psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy.
Dr. Jain approaches every patient with a surgeon's diagnostic rigor and an Ayurvedic practitioner's attention to the whole person. His philosophy is straightforward: Western medicine excels at acute intervention and structural repair, while Ayurveda offers an unparalleled framework for understanding the root causes of chronic imbalance and restoring long-term vitality.
His current work extends this integration further, exploring how Ayurvedic preparation and integration protocols can support and deepen outcomes in psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy. This is frontier medicine that honors ancient wisdom.
Acute diagnosis, surgical correction, pharmacological precision, and evidence-based protocols developed over decades of rigorous clinical research.
